Fun Friday gym class with PE teacher M’Lena Gandolfi

Every Friday, high school gym classes like to mix up activities instead of their regular units they are scheduled to do. Physical Education teacher M’Lena Gandolfi’s gym class during G block play a game of basketball, do Zumba in the fitness room, and finally wrap up with a game of Bombardment.

- Players use only use half a basketball court to play the game; sophomore Austin Keating winds up to try and get the players on the other team out. One of the key elements of the game is to try and get the most balls on your side so you have enough to throw at the opposition and try to get them out. - Sophomore Michael Chlumecky throws a ball to the other side, while sophomore Michelle Fuca ducks and grabs a ball. Bombardment games become very competitive on Fridays, and are very much enjoyed by students. Credit: Lila Hughes for Manchester Essex Multimedia Online
