Seniors celebrate their last night at Manchester-Essex High School

On Friday, June 1st, 2012 seniors celebrated their last night at Manchester- Essex High School. Baccalaureate is the official start to the senior’s graduation.

- History department chair Dan Jewett made a speech composed of the letters that the seniors wrote to their 12th grade self four years ago in freshman year. - At the end of Baccalaureate all of the seniors get candles as they walk out of the school for one of the last times. Once they are out of the school they have one of their own private ceremonies, where the teachers congratulate all of the seniors on their hard work.
